Vendor Hall Policies, Rules, and Expectations

General Guidelines

Primary vendors must be at least 18 years of age at time of convention.

Sales of any kind outside of the designated vendor halls are prohibited.

LouisiAnthro management reserves the right to make changes to the Vendor Hall layouts at any time with or without prior notice.
Professional Conduct
All vendors, assistants, and booth staff are expected to:

Treat attendees, volunteers, staff, and fellow vendors respectfully.

Maintain professional business practices.
-
Avoid disruptive or confrontational behavior.
-
Follow directions issued by convention leadership and safety personnel.

Follow the convention Code of Conduct.
Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, stalking, or abusive conduct will not be tolerated
Booth Staffing
Vendors should maintain booth coverage during posted marketplace hours whenever possible.
Vendors are responsible for the conduct of:

Assistants

Employees
-
Helpers
-
Shared booth occupants
Any misconduct by booth staff may be treated as misconduct by the vendor.
Violations
Violations of any of the Vendor Hall Policies or convention Code of Conduct may result in:

Verbal warning
-
Written warning
-
Required removal of merchandise
-
Temporary suspension of sales
-
Removal from LouisiAnthro without refund
Severe and/or repeated violations may result in exclusion from future LouisiAnthro events.
Merchandise Guidelines
Dealer’s Den
The main vendor hall for pre-made prints, physical products, apparel, plushies, accessories, and other manufactured furry merchandise. This area is all-ages and must remain family-friendly at all times.
Artist Alley
A dedicated space for artists offering on-the-spot commissions, original artwork, prints, badges, and small handmade items. Artists are encouraged to create at-con. This area is all-ages and family-friendly.
Adult Den
A separate, age-restricted space for NSFW and adult-themed artwork, prints, toys, apparel, and accessories. Strict 18+ ID check enforced. All explicit items must be properly covered from public view.
The Adult Den may include:

Mature comics and publications

Adult-themed crafts and accessories
-
Adult collectibles
-
Commissions of any items listed above.
Raffles and Giveaways
Vendors may host giveaways. Raffles are prohibited due to Louisiana Law.
Content Guidelines
Vendors may not sell food or beverages, firearms or weapons, flammable/incendiary items (besides candles and incense), pirated works, works created with AI or AI assistance, or merchandise that promotes harassment, hate groups, or illegal activity.
Vendors may not sell or re-sell any LouisiAnthro merchandise (including items for sale at-con and online), or merchandise with the LouisiAnthro mascots or logos unless given explicit permission by the Vendor Operations and Creative directors.
All displayed and sold merchandise must comply with federal, state, and local laws.
LouisiAnthro reserves the right to remove any item deemed inappropriate, unsafe, unlawful, or
inconsistent with convention values.
Convention staff maintain final authority regarding merchandise eligibility.
Signage and Display Rules
Dealer’s Den
Dealers will receive one 6’x6’ area per purchased table. Dealers may move tables and place their displays anywhere within their area. Height is unrestricted unless it violates safety codes.
Artist Alley
Artists may not move their tables and may not have any display pieces on the floor. Height restriction of 4' (unless further restricted by safety).
Adult Den
Booth space TBD.
Vendors must ensure that:

Adult material remains within their assigned booth space.

Adult material is sold in a hidden package via sleeve, bag, etc.
-
Merchandise that may be triggering to some (ex; gore, self-harm scars, extreme kinks, etc) must either be temporarily censored or displayed in a binder upon request.
Convention management may require modifications to displays if concerns arise
General Guidelines
Vendor displays may not obstruct other booths or walkways. Displays may include sounds and lights as long as they are not overbearing or annoying to fellow vendors or attendees.

Louisiana Taxes
All vendors must obtain a Louisiana Sales Tax Permit before the convention or risk forfeiting their vendor spot. This can be done through LaTAP (under Register My Business).
Vendors are responsible for:

Collecting and reporting applicable taxes.

Maintaining their own payment systems.
-
Providing accurate descriptions of products and services, including reasonable commission timelines.

Managing customer disputes professionally.
LouisiAnthro is not responsible for lost revenue, payment processing issues, or vendor equipment failures.
Current Baton Rouge, Louisiana sales tax is 10.5%

Table Sales and Sharing
All table sales in the LouisiAnthro Vendor Halls are final. No refunds will be issued. Exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis by contacting the Director of Vendor Operations. Tables cannot be transferred or sold to another vendor without permission of LouisiAnthro.
If a vendor wishes to share a table with another vendor under a separate business, both vendors must submit their own applications. Both vendors must request this in their applications and request permission from the Director of Vendor Operations. Not all requests will automatically be accepted.

Communication with vendors is primarily done through email, Telegram, and Discord.
